Go:
- AMS/Infiniti Intakes
- AMS/Infiniti Heat Exchanger
- AMS/Infiniti Expansion Tank
- HKS/Z1 BOVs
- Z1 Full High-Flow Catted Downpipes
- HKS Legamax Catback
- Tuned by R/T Tuning via ECUTek > Results are 459hp & 499tq at the wheels (AWD mustang dyno)

Show:
- CeramicPro 9H
- XPEL Paint Protection Film
- KROWN Rust Preventative Treatment
- 35% Ceramic Tint w/ 45% up front

Adding some renderings of some visual directions I'm exploring.

Unless you at some point planning on replicating AMS' build, don't you dare put that spoiler on there.

What psi did you get tuned at for those numbers?

AMS had a drag wing on theirs, matte red wrap, chute and slicks. Totally different vibe IMO but I appreciate the input man. I do dig how sleek it looks with the Volks without it.

As for PSI, I'm at 20 on 93. R/T Tuning didn't want to go over 20 without a better flowing fuel pump. This was on their AWD Mustang dyno too, most of them read a little low hence their "heartbreaker" nick name but who knows. I'm super happy with it so far.

Yea I just mean replicating their power. That's the only time those spoilers have purpose.

Are you driving around daily at 20? I was a little nervous about doing that for the added wear and tear on the engine and other parts. Just curious as to what others were doing. I was tuned at 18.5 by Z1. I'm not sure what kind of dyno they have, but they mainly work on Nissans and Infinitis so it should be fairly accurate. Although it was over 90 degrees out when I tuned, I was sitting right at 403/507.

I keep telling myself I don't need the fuel pump, but the more I see numbers closer to 500, the more I want it.

Hah, "in_an_instant" was my username on the audi forums back before I traded my S5 in on my Q60. Thanks for the catch! I don't think I can update a title though so I guess it's sticking. I'll see if maybe a moderator can help.

@testrage can the title be updated to "staying_tuned's..." by any chance?

Wow, 507tq at 18.5 psi is fantastic! I plan to just sit on this cookie cutter FBO build until someone releases a buttoned up short-block with forged internals along with an aftermarket manifold rather than try to eek out any more power. An entire low mile VR30DDTT motor can be had for 2k which is a great sign. AMS has to have a custom manifold prototype printed by now, it's only a matter of time before there are some seriously viable and affordable options to break us out of these FBO chains : )

it would be cool if you can get a dynojet dyno...your baseline seems a bit high for a mustang dyno. your baseline is similar to dynojet numbers. You might have a factory freak engine, usually mustang dynos reads about 10% lower then a dynojet.

Current ride: 2017 BMW M2 6spd

Last cars
2018 Q60 Redsport AWD

2008 BMW 335xi AWD

2014 Subaru WRX AWD

2003 G35 RWD

2002 Mercedes C32 AMG RWD

My baseline was with all the hardware installed though, not in stock form. They covered the heat exchanger, BOVs and expansion tank installations but I had already installed the intakes, downpipes and exhaust prior to bringing it in so my "baseline" is skewed quite a bit. I can see if maybe there is an AWD dynojet around here, wouldn't be a bad idea just to have another point of reference for sure.
