15k maintenance question

I recently bought a 2021 Q60 Red Sports with 14.3k miles. Dealer says they have done oil and filter change, inspections, etc. I bought it from an out of state dealer. Oil looks clean, car info says I have 8000+ before oil change (?).

Is there a maintenance schedule I should follow? What is involved? With my past cars, I simply had the oil changed and inspections. If I go to dealership, they invariably suggest an expensive ..

Did you get an owner's manual with your car? It contains a maintenance schedule. You can also find the owner's manual online at INFINITI USA | Luxury SUVs, Crossovers, Sedans, and Coupes
I'd recommend 5k mile oil & filter change intervals (OCIs) with the VR30 engine.

I’m super OCD as I already went thru an engine by following their recommendations of 10k miles using that 02 oil.

I now change my oil every 2.5-3k miles using 5W-30 oil. I’ve also purchased Z1s aluminum oil pan which allows for a “complete” oil drain and extra oil capacity.

I do intervals of 3k with whatever oil the dealer uses, but I think this next one ill do some nice 5w-30 like mobil 1 or AMSoil.
Which reminds me, I think its almost time for my next change lol. I guess ill do that and the Z1 under shroud install all at the same time.

The 0w-20 they use at the dealer is alright but not ideal in hot weather or when tuned since its so thin. And I think the 10k recommendation is absurd, id never wait longer than 5k in between changes with this platform

Word of caution with that oil pan. I have the same one. On the first oil change at the dealer they over tightened the oil plug and strip some threads. I got in touch with Z1 and they were kind enough to send me a new pan. Great company to deal with since they were under no obligation to fix something the dealer screwed up. Z1 told me to make sure not to tighten the oil drain plug to no more than 5-10 ft/lbs max. They said the crush washer doesnt need to be completely crushed to form a seal.
