  • 2014 Q60 IPL Coupe $51,200
  • 2014 Q60 Convertible $47,900

Most of this seems pretty fair though I wouldn't want to pay the price of the Q60 IPL Convertible. Starting at $61,450 is really expensive.

What model are you guy s thinking of getting? Will you be adding packages and options?

$10,000 extra does seem like a lot between the Q60 IPL Coupe and the Q60 IPL Convertible. Is the convertible a hard top or a soft top. I would be more willing to pay the extra if it was hard top.

I will likely go with the ILG Coupe model. I'm not the biggest fan of convertibles.

Yea the markup for the convertible is out of this world.

Not even that much of a good looking car in my opinion.. at least not for 61k

I'm just not sure why they made the convertible so expensive. I didn't want a convertible anyway. But if my heart was set on one, I might look elsewhere with this pricing.

Why a $7,500 mark up for a convertible without IPL, but a $10,250 mark up from the IPL coupe to the IPL convertible? Doesn't make much sense to me.

IMO I would never buy a coupe like this for that much.
But it will be a good buy when it hits the used car market, just worried that the IPL models will be abused

because on the IPL convertible they stiffened the chassis for a more performance oriented ride.

How different is the suspension in the IPL model. is it a significant upgrade?
for the price difference going on i'd expect some significant differences in performance

Then again it's really hard to pass up on the unique styling the IPL model has, unlike anything else, unlike any other Q60 or any Q60 aftermarket aero kit

Just Bought

Just got the IPL convertible. Was looking at the new Stingray but too many QC issues w/new model. Also looking at SLK350 but even crazier expensive. Car is expensive, no doubt, but got a good deal. I like the looks & sound. Only disappointment is up/down mechanism which is slow.

Very comfortable ride. Live in Hilton Head and this is my island car. Top will always be down when not raining. Took a trip to Charlotte day after buying & had top down most of the way in 50 degree weather. Heated seats made ride totally comfortable.

even without a manual you should still be able to enjoy it.
some automatics can be fun, just depends on how sporty it is, infiniti is usually good with that

The IPL is a bit quicker but not by much
I've seen some comparison tests and I think the numbers of the IPL versus the standard G37 coupe are pretty much negligible. There might be an additional sensation of power, but when it comes to track numbers, there's not a huge amount of improvement.

In the end it's basically your typical outgoing model year to new model year transition within the same generation of vehicle, only difference is that this time around Infiniti renamed it to keep it in line with the rest of it's vehicles within it's whole new naming system.
