The driveshaft will be a different length between the Auto 7 speed and the Manual 6 speed.I'd also suggest an Inland Empire 1-piece Aluminum Driveshaft - it will last much longer than the 2-piece stock unit w/carrier bearing, considering your track plans for the Q:

I had the 1-piece IE D/S on my AWD Q60, and it made a considerable difference in the reduction of driveline slop during the power on-and-off transientions. Oh, and at 25k miles, the stock U-Joint was already spattering the driveline tunnel with grease...
