2019 red sport 400 Q60 high rpm exhaust howl
Hi. I recently purchased a 2019 red sport with 50,000km on it. At high rpm, only under load, the car will howl like an F1 car. This is only when really getting on it. No performance issues, I’ve had it listened to by a Nissan mechanic and another really good tech. Both say normal exhaust note as the car has some type of aftermarket axle back on it. Looking for other opinions. YouTube sound clip : Exhaust noise normal?

Maybe someone has better hearing than me. I'm not hearing anything that stands out as abnormal. Actually, sounds pretty good for just being an axel-back change.

Thanks for the response. If you listen towards the last 2 seconds your can hear it howl, it sounds similar to a an F1 car or maybe even supercharger screech. Note that this is only something I hear when I’m really giving it the beans lol. I just wanted to outweigh possible belt or turbo issues before my warranty is up.

The only Q60 Red Sport I've ever really heard in person is mine with the Infiniti Sport Exhaust Kit (muffler delete).If it sounds normal I’ll take your word for it 🙏

Haha. I’ll try and get a better video to duplicate the sound.. it probably is normal, I just went from a problematic twin turbo Benz to this, so now I have anxiety.Mine sounds like this at redline
