So I will be starting my AMS Red Alpha Q60 for the first time in 3 months! It only has about 3 gallons in it, and I’m sure that gasoline has degraded quite a bit. I planned on going to get 5 gallons of 100 octane and fill her up with that before I try to start her. Smart or dumb idea for the vr30? Yes I am catless.

Wow, yeah, if you're going to park your car long term it should be with a full tank. Oxygen is the enemy of fuel.

Ethanol in the gas is also your enemy.

If you can find non-ethanol gas in your area, I would run the tank as empty as possible before any/another long storage period, go to the non-ethanol pump, 1st dump the appropriate amount of Sta-bil in the tank, then fill the tank full with non-ethanol gas.

This is exactly how I prepare the fuel system & fuel tank for my motorcycle before I store it for the winter season.
