What is your wishlist for changes? What specification changes can we expect? What difference will the G60 have vs the G50?

Hopes? Wishes? Opinions?

I wanted an instrument cluster similar to what Lexus as in all of it's new vehicles, one being the 2014 Lexus IS. But after seeing pictures of the Lexus IS, doesn't seem like it's going to happen.

A Hybrid powertrain in the Q60 will be great to have.
How did you guys like the handling on the previous G37 coupe? I found it to be a little heavy on the turns and the rear end tends to slide a bit when you exit on the corners. Just as an experiment to satisfy my curiosity, on my G37 coupe i took out the spare tire and rear seats out along with some other panels. Surprisinglly the G37 handle exceptionally better making it more balanced. Do you guys think that Infiniti looked in to these things in the new Q60?
More Power!!!! haha but seriously hybrid would be pretty cool. Stylistically If it can match that rendering I saw on the other thread that would be great.
My main wishlist is the legroom to be more in the Q60 compared to the back of the G37 if its possible. As i find it hard to achieve this usually in two plus two seating format. And also if they can make the body lighter to make the weight more balanced for better handling.
I'm guessing they make the Q60 have an option with a 6-speed manual transmission. Also, Q60 exhaust should be louder. If Nissan sticks with their tradition, they will make the Q60 have a close relationship with the Nissan Z car. (same platform, same engine etc.)
6 speed transmission might not be included in the Q60. but many are complaining that they should have it since the q50 the sedan model wont be. Im dont care whether they do or not. but i hope the engine note sounds as good as the last model. I think infiniti/nissan has made an impression on their previous models for a great sounding engine. now lets hope for that in the q60 coupe.
Giving this a manual option will do a lot from separating this from the Q50. The Coupe version would appeal more to the performance crowd than a sedan would.

Sedan or Coupe, the performance crowd will want both. It's like BMW and their M3 sedan and coupe. Both cars are amazing the only thing that would make someone want to buy either one is if they're a sedan or coupe person or have a real purpose for 4 doors e.x. kids.

BOTH Q50 and Q60 should have a manual option, and BOTH should have IPL models.

manual in the q60, the true car enthusiast will want it, nissan is usually good with living up to the enthusiasts expectations.

what they might do though to push the idea of automatics and to slowly transition people over to automatic is offer automatic ONLY the first year and introduce manual the year after.

Louder exhaust for sure. Even cooler would be a factory exhaust cut out switch thing to go back and forth between a silent and slightly louder exhaust.

nothing better than factory tuning!

IPL Exhaust? hmmm
It wouldnt be a bad idea for the IPL version. customization for the driver to choose from and maybe a inner cabin switch or even have different driving modes like eco, to sport for the best performance. But doesnt bmw have a similar with their M series exhaust?
Just wondering, have we reached out to Infiniti yet to get a rep on this site?? Would be great to have some input from them and maybe they get some input from us ;)
I like the sound of the idea but I think its hard to come by. Unless they some how stumble up on this forum but how would you go about even contacting one. I would like to get some feedback and insider info.
That will be hard, I mean how often do reps from dealers or manufacturers even bring their attention to forums. If they did though we can all benefit from it. We as the consumers can benefit from the knowledge of the vehicle which would be the Q60 and have a better understanding. And for the Reps they can potentially boost up there sales of the vehicle itself.
I'll do some research today to try to get a contact number, but you'd think that we have to be one of the few (if not only) Q60 forum, as the car won't even be out for 2-3 more years....

Yeah this is the only Q60 forum i have found so far, closest thing to it are G forums.

Technically a Q60 will be out next year, just not the one that will be closely based off of the Q50's design. I think once the 2014 Q60 is made we'll see some of those people on here.
Once the infiniti Q50 hit the roads more consumers will think hey what about the coupe how does that look like?
