Do current Infiniti owners have this service? I think this will be one of the greatest features that Infiniti provides. It's like Siri, but it actually works. You are talking to a real person.

Check out this video

Infiniti Personal Assistant provides new Infiniti owners 24-hour access to an entire team of live, professional personal assistants, all at the push of a button! Callers will receive assistance with the answer to any question or with the performance of tasks on their behalf. Every new Infiniti vehicle comes with 4 years of unlimited access to Infiniti Personal Assistant. Visit InfinitiPersonalAssistant.com for more information.

This service remains a no-cost feature for the first four years of new-Infiniti ownership. It also cost extra for companion accounts in case you have a spouse or kids :(

I wonder if the service gets transferred over if you buy used. And if you take over the prior contract or start a brand new one. Hopefully, at no extra cost.

Wow that's a lot of things to cover. All of these things can be done on our phones but it always helps to do it all hands free with a real person on the other end.

Is this the first time Infiniti has had such a service or has it been going on for a while?

I wonder how well Personal Assistant compares to OnStar.

all these things are capable on your everyday use smart phone. so after the free four years unless it offers a great easy to use and organized interface I'll scrap it. But how much will it be just to get an idea.

The difference is using a smartphone while driving is illegal, while calling Infiniti Personal Assistant for support is not, as long as you use a hands free device.

That and I find even with smartphone voice commands, they aren't that great, sometimes it won't recognize or pick up on what your saying, pro-longing the process.

at least with the human element to it, it makes things much easier for very obvious reasons.

this is definitely a service to not turn down.

Definitely. Siri and other computer voice systems are terrible. I can never get it to understand what I am saying the first time or even second time. Also, in Canada, the Siri service is very limited compared to the USA. Map functions don't work as well.

This assistant service sounds pretty good. Best news is that it's free.

It would be funny to ask for personal advice like girlfriend problems lol.
I'm pretty sure they would give you some good advice if theyre females and if the better part would be trying to get one to go on a date with you. Whatever free get it while it is.

LOL or maybe a lot of lonely people just looking for someone to talk to. I wonder how Infiniti deals with those people lol.

I have yet to see a good working voice system. I think we are way ahead of ourselfves at the moment for these things to work. Either that or just we need someone to make one work seamlessly.

This is why having the human element in a service like Infiniti Personal Assistant is important, why waste your time messing around with a voice recognition system that will play guessing games with you, giving you a selection when you clearly asked it for something specific.

At least with the human element being their, the process of getting what you need from it is much faster and less of a PITA.

A downside will be if Infiniti outsources their personal assistants to India or China, then you might want your beloved Siri back LOL

Human is definitely better than an automated voice system. A voice automated system is one of the most annoying and frustrating things to deal with.
