unlike BMW and Mercedes, Infiniti never had the type of flagship sedan to put this technology in years ago, I believe HUD started in the 7 series and S-Class before it made it's way down to cheaper BMW and Benz vehicles. at least Acura isn't doing it, if they were, that would make Infiniti look bad.thats strange how infiniti never thought of including this feature to there vehicles. It would help the driver a lot more to keep attention on the roads where it should be most of the time. Another cool idea would be to project an image of the rear view with a camera. now if that were to happen now the driver can focus on driving.
HUD available in the Q60 premium seems very realistic to me. Doesn't seem like Infiniti is at the stage where they are ready to do things like adding heads up display as a standard feature but they really should, just imagine how it will make their brand look.Doesn't the Infiniti M45 already have the Hud system in it? I think its nice if infiniti would add the hud in the Q60. Regardless of who had it first infiniti maybe even should add this in the Q60 Premium.
Yup, only thing is cost.It wouldn't be a bad thing for infiniti to add a hud system as a standard to their vehicle. It wouldn't look bad but instead when people think about infiniti they would be known as a more technical and boost their luxury status.
If it is any car infiniti will be putting the Hud system in this one will more than likely be the one. Even for the M I don't think has the hud system yet. If this essence ever makes it to production there will be a couple more high tech features that infiniti will reveal. I know they have a lot up their sleeves. After seeing this thread: Infiniti Confirms Hybrid Sportscar it's possible we can see Infiniti's very own heads-up display system make it's debut their, best way to introduce the next coolest thing to your brand, in a flagship performance vehicle.

How realistic do we really think this image is? That car looks to be $80k+ and would completely change the style of the current line. This looks like a BRZ meets I Robot and they made a baby....After seeing this thread: Infiniti Confirms Hybrid Sportscar it's possible we can see Infiniti's very own heads-up display system make it's debut their, best way to introduce the next coolest thing to your brand, in a flagship performance vehicle.

Them introducing it in their future halo/flagship model will be key to them making it better and keep it further apart from it's current models. It's what Lexus did and what they could do. But in Lexus's case it was the digital instrument cluster.I think that Infiniti could put a HUD in its halo car, but i really don't think that it is needed or really wanted in anything else. While it is cool and slightly useful, it does not really bring anything new to the table that you can't currently get from a regular set of gauges. If it was offered in Infiniti vehicles, it would probably be part of the tech package. I don't think that people would want to pay for it separately though.
