What will pricing be like for the Infiniti Q60 Sports Coupe and Convertible?

For the 2014 model? It should be the same as the G37 coupe. The sedan (Q50) is still to be announced. But it will change because there is a hybrid model. That model will be priced differently. The regular 3.7L V6 could stay a round the same price. Likely go up a bit.
For the 2014 model don't expect anything more than $1000, but once 2015 hits and the 2015 IPL Q60 drops, expect a nice price hike, it's suppose to get a crazy drivetrain, a 500HP engine to start, more than 100 up from the current g37 IPL.

What do you guys think a 2015 500HP IPL Q60 performance model will cost?

I don't even know since the nissan skyline is already like $100K the infiniti should be more if the rumor is true and have 500hp for the IPL. If i really had to guess it would be closer to $115-125k. But the previous IPL models did have a price hike like that but then again it didn't go up that much in horsepower either.

Going from the current G37 coupe to G37 IPL is just an $11 000 difference. If the Q60 IPL is really as high as $100k, thats a huge premium over the regular Q60. Not sure if they can justify that.
If this is true with the price hike of the IPL Q50 model it will be unattainable for the average g37 owner to make the jump. With this price margin it will cater to a different crowd but the numbers will yield less for sales though.

i haven't heard anything about an IPL Q50 but since they didn't mention anything as crazy as a 550HP IPL Q50 and just a 550HP IPL Q60, the IPL Q50 might just be like what the IPL G37 is with identical modifications and price hike.
There are now rumors of a four door Infiniti GTR too. I don't think its a bad idea this will be a close competitor to compete with the M3, well M4 now. BMW did have a 4 door m3 in its previous generation not sure if they will continue that in the M4 but if they do a four door infiniti GTR will be a good fight.

Are you basing that info only the previous IPL models? I have a feeling that the IPL line for infiniti will be changing. Well they need to because those slight changes for the IPL G37 wasn't sufficient for the cost and the performance line itself. IPL had nothing on the M series performance line from bmw and lets not even go to mercedes.

i was looking at the infiniti usa g37 configurator and the price difference he mentioned was what is saw and you're right the IPL package amounted be being just a slight change when compared to other performance trims. Definitely not like an AMG or M vehicle but more like what comes with a GS350 F-Sport, BMW M540, etc.

they are making a serious move to get more involved in performance, this thread: Infiniti Confirms Hybrid Sportscar provides some good insight on the future of Infiniti and IPL.

I think after sebastian vettel took took the Q50 hybrid for a spin Infiniti worked closely with his suggestions. One thing for sure is that since the M35H and the power it generated for a hybrid changed the way people see hybrids.
I still haven't got a chance to drive a hybrid with that much power. I know the infiniti M35h makes a decent amount from what I read. Maybe ill go test drive out one this weekend to see. Its only a matter of time till all the manufacturers turn to electric motors and used hybrid components.

The rumored IPL is most likely going to be a hyrbid but with a shy of 600hp no one will say hey that is one fast prius.

Not only that but there has been hybrid powertrains in professional racing and even higher performance production vehicles and thats where it would have originally changed people views on hybrids. I believe the M35h entered the game kinda late.
If the M35h was already this good I can't wait to see how the next generation would be like.
I am very interested to see if they offer the hybrid for the coupe. I really do hope the 6MT stays on the coupe.
yeah for sure a 6 speed manual hybrid Q60 would be awesome. The torque to play around with mated with the manual transmission would be key.
