Infiniti Q60 vs Audi A4

The A4 comes in MANY flavors. Different engine choices... Different drivetrains.. And a manual or automatic transmission. It also comes with AWD where as the Q60 may or may not.

I drove a A4 earlier this year when shopping for a car and I find the 335i to be much more refined in terms of a drivers car. The G37 has also been known to have great handling and it would be interesting to see how it compares to the A4. There is of course also the S4 and RS4 being more expensive vs the Q60 and G37, but there is also the option for it from Audi.

Any reason you chose the G37 or Q60 over the Audi?

The only RS4 worth doing would be the 2008 model, which comes Manula, convertible, AWD, FAST AS ****!
I would never consider a German vehicle, especially when it's from Audi. Difference of cost of ownership between Infiniti's and Audi's are quite different. I doubt the person that originally wanted an Infiniti will consider an Audi.
Audi's don't have the best reputation when it comes to reliability. I have heard of numerous issues with their vehicles. Electrical and all going prematurely and for them when one thing goes it affects everything. I am not saying infiniti is perfect but at least not big issues like Audi though.

Reason why they sell for so cheap while some Infiniti's cost more than them.

Might as well buy an Infiniti, have great resale value, low cost maintenance and worry-free ownership.
Now that you bring it up infiniti vehicles do hold their value pretty strong. I was looking at the previous im56 and they are still up their in price for a preowned vehicle. That is why i just decided to look in to the Q60 since its a brand new car and its a little more sporty.
Depends on the car. The first generation G35s didn't hold their value well at all.

The G37s are holding their value quiet well. And so are the M class cars.
The G37 given the time will follow the same route as the G35. If anything it will be the M class that always hold there value.
But the thing is the M class is not as popular as the G37/G35. And this is due to their price the M class has much mroe options and features still expensive for what it is. The M35 are starting to drop in price but the M45 and M56 are still up their.
I was have A4. Infiniti Q60 is the best! More comfortable and 5 stars for tehnology!
Ummm, don't you mean A5? Why compare a 2 door to a 4 door?
Maybe a mistype. I think the Q60 looks way better than the 2016 Audi A5 Coupé by far. The A5 looks generic to me.

To each their own but I actually think both look great. I would get the A5 but I hate to think about the issues I could have with it. Plus waiting for my income to increase... might get an RS5 next year.
I think the A5 is still a fantastic car, both inside and out. Even after all these years, only in the interior where you see it's become a little long in the tooth.

Conversely, I think this new Q60 edges out the A5 from the inside and the outside right now.

Getting an A5 shouldn't be too bad, as long as you lease or buy certified. Yeah, the occasional repair is likely and may be expensive, but it happens on most cars in this segment.
Never really sat in the Audi A5 so I can't really comment on the interior but the hood is a bit more slanted downwards with the q60 and the side ridges gives it a more aggressive look which is something I prefer.

That is true.

Plus owning one offers a bit of exclusivity, its not often that you see one on the road. Compare that to its MB and BMW rivals and they are far more common.
MB, BMW and Audi cars all look like a fist to me and very common these days. The infiniti would be a head turner and something different on the roads.
I find it very interesting that luxury brands want to increase sales, yet they also must ensure that their vehicles remain exclusive as that is a crucial part of their luxurious character. So, Infiniti is more exclusive through it selling less volume and being less popular, but in a way that makes it a more luxurious brand than BMW. It is a paradox of sorts.
Just wait till they refresh more of the vehicle line up and then it will be a different story, eventually they won't have that exclusiveness. They will take on the same pace lexus has from what I can see.
