What can we expect to be different apart from the obvious?

Well they havent announced whether or not they are gonna use the hybrid engine in the Q60 coupe yet.
I wonder if there will be difference in suspension and braking.

it's not official and i doubt it will be anytime soon but a luxury hybrid coupe will be nice to have! even a luxury hybrid convertible. it will be aimed at a low level niche but who knows it could explode and become a hit.
Well if they were to make a Q60 hybrid the competitor will be the Cadillac ELR coupe hybrid. I know thats a niche market at the moment but it can be the next big thing later on if we go any "greener". I dont think it would be a bad idea if it could bring some thing to the table and convince us otherwise. I mean what is the big issue with a hybrid coupe. Performance? well look at how much pwer the m35h makes, the Q50 will be adopting that engine set, so why cant they do that to the Q60.
I would pretty much expect the the Q60 and the Q50 to be equivalents to each other in horsepower, performance and features. Much like how the G37 Sedan and Coupe were not very different from each other. Except for of course the obvious. The difference will be one is a coupe, the other is a sedan.
The Q50/Q60 predecessors JX35 Coupe and Sedan didn't have too many differences between them.

But at this stage, it's still a pretty big question mark. Who's to say there won't be some big differences when the Q60 refresh makes it debut years from now.

That's exactly how it should be. Infiniti wants to compete with the brands leading the segment they want to get into, so offering a sedan and coupe that are very much like each other is the way to go. They already proved how successful this can be with the G line up, now the Q50 and Q60 need to top what the G's did and much better.

Since when was the Infiniti JX35 a coupe and sedan?

My mistake, I think I was reading a Motortrend article on the JX35 at the time. I think my mind had a bit of a fart.

Both the Q50 and Q60 share the same engine and features but the shell is different. I would question the rigidity to be different since the B and c pillar are at different points at least from the looks of it.
For something that's so similar in features, why does the current coupe version of the G37 cost $3k more than the Sedan? I thought coupes are supposed to be cheaper than sedans, in general.

rigidity is definitely going to be different on both the Q60 and Q50 due to the positions of the A, B and C Pilar, but shouldn't be anything to worry about. If the Q60 and Q50 will be anything like the G37 coupe and sedan, they will feel close to each other in rigidity
If anything I wonder if there is any difference in balance of the weight between the Q50 sedan and the Q60 coupe. Like if one is 60/40 or any different.

Not sure about the weight balance. But the sedan should weigh more than the coupe version.
