Installed resonators on my FI CBE exhaust

Ever since I installed the FI LDPs the droning and overall volume increased tremendously, it sounded crazy but it was too loud and raspy. Too muh of a screamer for my taste. It already had a bit of droning just with the FI CBE, but with the LDP added it got bad. I was quite disappointed with the FI exhaust which is so highly praised here in the forum.

Spoke with Kevin @Fastintentions and he said I could try to get a local shop to install resonators (voiding the warranty though) or order a new mid pipe but I decided to go ahead with the local shop.

Ordered these from Z1:

Picked the 12', was afraid the 18s were going to be too quiet.

Got a local shop I trust to install them and ****, it sounds freaking amazing now. It got a deeper tone, its less loud but still very noticeable, especially from outside. The guys in the shop did a great job.

Also had them do a transmission fluid change and indeed the car shifts smoother now (66k kms). New spark plugs too in preparation for a Specialty Z tuning later this spring. Also new belt (indicator was getting close to edge) and new brake fluid (5.1).

Anyways, I digress. Moral of the story, get resonators unless I like a screamer :D

I know this is an older post but when you purchased the FI CBE did you go with the resonated x pipe and resonated mufflers initially? Do you have a pic of the install of these other resonators?
If you have Ldp you must have a resonator in your CBE .. or it will become too **** loud!

OP hasn't been seen since September of last year. But going off his signature, and the fact that FI said he could either order a new mid pipe with resonators or have a shop install resonators I'd guess he had the non-resonated mid pipe to begin with.
I didn't catch that he said he'd have to order a new one with the resonators. I wonder what mufflers he went with on that install? I'm guessing he did the whole non-resonated x and sport mufflers on it.

His signature says "FI CBE 10" mufflers"
Well look at me not reading his signature and responding to these things without my glasses on, lol.

I have the FI LDP's and resonated Catback touring. Still has some drone around 2-3k.

You mind sharing a video of it (you can just DM me it) of driving normal and decent acceleration?
