This vehicle has been out for well over 7 months now or so and I have hardly seen one on the road. This is not making sense to me at all. The sales must be extremely slow something Infiniti was not expecting I suppose. Sad.. I wonder why!?!? Less demand for coupes? Lets not blame it on the season.

The previous generation G37 etc. was hideous n so extremely ugly. What a fail that model generation was. The sales had to be horrendous on that generation. The first generation G35 coupe when it first came out in 2002/03 or what have you was designed very almost flawless a good design all around for the time. It was a looker and head turner. I was one of the first to preorder it and own drive one for 4 years, but once my lease was over I didnt like the new generation so I opted for the 2008 BMW 335i coupe because in my opinion by far much more beautiful design and head turner. There was just not comparision in looks. BUT NOW I dont like the NEW 4 series generation coupe design, Im just not crazy and Im back in love with Inifinitis Q60 COupe, namely the Red Sport. Im considering leasing one. Great value fully loaded for $63,000+. I imagine you can probably get well over $3000+ OFF right now with how few they have sold and probably a ton of inventory out there.

I live in Thornhill. Im often in North york and Richmond hill areas as well and I just FINALLY saw 1 the other day and believe me my eyes DONT MISS A THING.

Does anyone feel the same? Hmmm....

I have seen maybe 2 or 3 in the past few months and I'm in NYC. I thought there would be more on the road as well, sales have picked up, not sure how they compare to G35 coupe and G37 coupe first year sales...

Here's what I could find for the sales in Canada and the link to the Infiniti Canada website so you can track sales there in future yourself - INFINITI Online Newsroom

- September 2016: 106 units
- October 2016: 147 units
- November 2016: 86 units
- December 2016: 53 units
- January 2017: 52 units
- February 2017: 81 units

Sales look decent for Canada from what I can tell. Not many people want a 2 door sports coupe in the middle of winter after all so sales should pick up come summer.

I'm guess those numbers may include the older gen Q60 cars that dealerships may be trying to offload alongside the newer one.

The competition is
Audi A5
BMW 4
ATS
C-class
Lexus RC

I didn't say cheaper I said overpriced.
Ok, what is comparable and less expensive than a Q60 Red Sport?

Do we all agree on this list? I have a hard time believing that anyone would consider an Audi A5 or Merc C300 4cylinder over the Red Sport. Unless you don't care about power. My 2 cents... ;)
Let's see what the google-fu can help us with:

Baseline - 2017 Infiniti Q60 weight (3,727 to 4,024 lbs) & priced from $38,950

The competition is:
Audi A5 - weight (3,483 to 4,046 lbs) & priced from $41,200
BMW 4 - weight (3,495 to 4,270 lbs) & priced from $41,950
ATS - weight (3,418 to 3,693 lbs) & priced from $37,595
C-class - weight (3,417 to 4,057 lbs) & priced from $39,500
Lexus RC - weight (3,737 to 3,958 lbs) & priced from $40,155

I'll let everyone decide and make your own opinions - everything green is better than the baseline and everything red is worse. You are all adults here (I hope) :D.

I don't know why, but I absolutely dislike blanket statements without any evidence.....must be a side affect of my professional life..LOL >:)

LOL, love the color coding! The post was just a way to try and start a flame war. Just seems odd to join a forum for a car you think is "overweight and overpriced", LOL. The RS is an awesome vehicle for the money but it won't be for every one.

I have seen 10 so far, so it's selling well. That's all, done with this topic. Cheers. :)

I joined before the Q60 was released so I didn't know what it would weigh or how it would be priced. I am just giving an opinion as to the OP's question. We can all agree that the Q60 is overweight. The only car heavier is the RC and it has been hammered because of its weight.

I never said the Q60 was more expensive I said it was overpriced which has been brought up by several forum members before me.

Lets be honest it's a great car but it doesn't have the cache of the germans and is mid pack at best in all of the tests I have read. It should realistically be priced more in line with the ATS.

So how are you liking the ATS?
