A wire broke off from my stock motherboard and I’m trying to replace it, but I have no idea what it is called or where to find it. I’ve tried contacting the manufacturer of the motherboard but they don’t know either. It has no part number. It is located behind the top LCD screen. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it, thanks! 8A7A0EBB-F106-430A-BE9A-15D63DF52371.jpeg E6D6E731-2655-4BF9-9AD3-7D5F0BABB33D.jpeg ACF19F20-C047-4D58-A56E-C12CD9483474.jpeg B3C20570-273D-4758-9FE3-A52B30C2E914.jpeg F163CA45-38F7-447D-ABE7-07C0741866C8.jpeg

Maybe take the board to an electronics/computer repair shop?

Looks like you should be able to solder that yourself pretty easily.

It doesn’t show in the picture but the wire is a bit messed up in the middle, not just the tip.
  • Ok, is it just a single wire in the sleeve? If so you could strip the sleeve back some and solder there too. I think you're going to have a lot of trouble finding that exact part.

What were you doing that you had that apart and how did the wire get damaged?

Your picture is out of focus, but that appears to be a coaxial connector. If it were me, I would try to measure and identify the connectors. Hopefully then you can just get a replacement cable. The cable here looks like it has a similar connector on one end.
