Looks good. I have it on my Q50 and like it. Turns on with parking lights or headlights on my car. I'm sure the Q60's are the same.

 

1) The emblem is metalic with a faintly visible transparent outline when the light is off. Honestly it still looks pretty good during the daytime while it's off. I'll add some pictures.
2) It comes on with the headlights/parking lights, just like on @pdqgp's Q50

You might already know but just in case, the Radiant Grill is not compatible with the Driver's Assistance Package so make sure you don't have that option

 

So I have a 2018 Q60 RS with the "ProAssist" package which I believe is equivalent to the Driver's Assistance Package for the previous year's package. I went up to my dealer last week and asked if they can add a radiant emblem and they said they will give me a call in a few days to make sure. I got a call today and they are saying they can add it. Even though onInfiniti's website it's saying it CAN'T be added if you have the ProAssist Package. I don't even know who to believe lol.

 

I wonder what Sid might charge for this? Looks awesome. For 500 I’d pass but for 300 maybe.

 

Little late to the game, but, here goes:

F2310-5CB1A, black sport grille WITH ICC, NO illuminate emblem: $530 MSRP, $424 shipped to the 48.

F2310-5CA0A, black sport grille withOUT ICC, NO illuminate emblem: $400 MSRP, $300 shipped to the 48.

F2310-5CA0J, black sport grill, withOUT ICC, WITH illuminated emblem: $863.02 MSRP (not sure how they came up with that number...), $550 shipped to the 48.

F2310-5CA0K, illuminated emblem grille (basically same grille with the illuminated emblem), withOUT ICC: $500 MSRP, $375 shipped to the 48.

At the moment, as previously states, there is currently no option for an accessory illuminated emblem from Infiniti for vehicles equipped with ICC.

I know that EMM has produced a couple CF grills with the glowing emblem, looks pretty clean, but I think they're charging like $600-700 for them LOL. I am debating on getting this too, since I blacked out my OEM grill and my car's black, I think a glowing emblem would contrast nicely, but I'll wait until the price drops a little bit. I'd recommend ebay for a better deal.


I've also seen a few guys modify their headlights to different colors, demon-eyes, etc. Wondering if they can alter the lights in the radiant emblem too.

@vtong22 I would go with what your dealer says, worst case scenario if they say they can do it and they F up, you have someone credible to blame/ fix for you

 

I didn't even realize that a carbon fiber radiant emblem existed! But yea I agree with you on the pricing. The color changing light mods sounds pretty cool too! I haven't seen any of those before. I would proceed with my dealer, but Ima hold off since I'm about to spend a good amount on Xpel clear bras, which was surprisingly more expensive than I expected initially lol.

Agreed....but I'm not all about spending beaucoup bucks for that. I'd rather wrap/dip it for a fraction of the price. That's pretty much how I feel about everything Emm sells.

 

That glowing emblem, do they have that with the black emblem? All the ones I've seen gave the grill/border blacked out or CF but the actual emblem itself is still chrome.

I was told because of the forward collision intervention (Driver's assistance package with around view monitoring) the Radiant Grill is incompatible. I was going to do the same thing - Dremel out the grill for the forward camera but with concerns the forward collision system is affected, I decided to let it go.

If you decide to do it, let us know how it goes. ;-]

I know they can engineer around that incompatibility, if their worth their salt. Probably see it in twenty nineteen.

I think I heard the connection plug is available on all Q60s but cannot be used on the Q60s that are like mine and have the front radar/360 camera set-up etc. Since you don't have that, you should have the plug still I believe.

I would confirm with @di_parts just to be sure. Sid (aka di_parts) can also help you source the grille you want

If I go for a chrome delete on my RS that has the radiant grille, will it look silly having a black infiniti emblem in the back, and the only thing chrome on the car being the large one in the front?

 

Not really, because you can't see the back and front at the same time. That said, I don't see why you couldn't wrap the glowing emblem (just wrap the chrome part, not the transparent glowing part).

 

I may get roast for this but I was broed and did a search and I found this a cheap alternative to the radiant grill if u buy the black grill alone which is around $375 plu this part if it fit.

I might be wrong and hopefully someone will correct me if I am but I don't think you will be able to run the radiant emblem grille based on the picture you attached.

Yeah I think from what I've seen on the Facebook groups there is a way to swap the emblem only on the Q50's but I don't think I've seen anyone do it on the Q60. I'm getting ready to install the grille on mine this weekend (w/o ICC), but I'd rather have ICC lol

 

Yeah, I wish it was like the Q50. Do you have forwarded collision warning, 360 cam, or blind spot warning on your Q60?

 

Hello sooo I’m still very new and looking to jazz up my q60- if I gathered correctly if the car is equipped with 360 cameras replacing the emblem for an illuminated emblem is impossible because of the camera? Is there no option for the camera and illuminated emblem?

 

I think I saw another posting in forum here on how to do just that on a Q60 which has the ICC so please search across the boards here. I can say when I bought mine this was not an option and I was disappointed but I wanted the ICC technology so I made my choice.
