Hey all,

decided to boroscope my turbos today.
Found what seemed like a light “film” around everything and a couple oil spots.
What do you guys think? I should note that I’m always a worst-outcome thinker so if there’s nothing wrong, just tell me lol. Otherwise, all input is greatly appreciated

I don't know why oil would be in there, but that doesn't mean you should worry. Are you using K&N oiled air filters?

Oil in the turbo means the seals are leaking. The dealer will swap it out. I bought a borescope just ro check the turbos routinely.

If the left side compressor outlet is dry, but the right side compressor outlet is not, the right side does have a breather tube that dumps into that area in the intake horn, so you will see a little oil mist.
