Turbo sounds weird?

This is a 2019 q60 Redsport awd when the turbos kicks in there’s a whining noise i dont know if this is supposed to be like this. Car has 28k miles.

People been telling me it could be a boast leak or my belts.

I don’t think my turbos are blown because there’s no smoke coming out.

I heard this when I got mine with 29k miles. Took it in to my Infiniti dealer to have them check and the tech was able to hear it when I took him on a drive, he was even able to tell me when he heard it without me saying anything. They checked for a few days and found nothing. The turbos were replaced before I bought it and I'm still under warranty and they basically said it's noted that I brought it in just incase anything happens. I'm at 53k miles and I still hear the same very low whine when I get to a certain rpm so I really think its nothing.
I’m starting to think ur right… it’s normal. I realize any “turbo noise” isn’t normal but I think I’m overly sensitive with my car (I take extremely good care of it), so I knit pick any noise. If u get boost at a low RPM when the engine isn’t making much noise, I feel like you’re bound to hear something from the turbos. I’m not the most technical so feel free (anyone) to correct me. My warranty expires in December of 2029, but just to be safe, I’m going to mention it to the tech during my next oil change. I suspect they will say the same to me… they can’t find anything but they made a note.
I understand, I'm the same way. Anything that doesn't feel normal to you just have them check it and you'll have the paperwork showing that. I haven't even done anything to it besides cosmetic cause its my daily and I'm under warranty. The only thing I plan on doing is getting new wheels soon.
One thing to consider... I also had a faint whine (vs whistle), and I'd bet it was the transmission hydraulic pump vs from the turbos. When I installed the Z1 transmission mount, the whine was more pronounced when cold then with the stock rubber mount.

Thx man. If it is the trans hydraulic pump, is that normal?
Btw, u got post any pics of ur new Audi yet? I’ve been busy and haven’t been on here much in recent weeks/months

Well, the NVH engineer for the transmission didn't quite do their job. As for "normal", I did a drain & fill of 7 qts of transmission at the dealer, which mitigated the noise. Iirc, it's a gear pump, so I'm not surprised if it whines a little.

The RS5 looks amazing. Digging the wheels.

I will likely use those wheels & tires for track (HPDE) use. I have a brand new set of Vorsteiner VPX-101 Forged wheels I purchased during BF '22, which I will likely mount some Michelin Pilot Sport 4 A/S for my daily wheel & tire combination. Since the RS5 uses Direct TPMS, I am also waiting for TPMS sensors I ordered online.
