I have a weird problem with my newly acquired q60 2017.From time to time, when I brake the rpm instantly increase to the max.making me very insecure,to say the least, when it happens in dense traffic aeras.Maybe someone had the same problem? My mechanic replaced a sensor and of course rebooted the computer but it prouved totally ineffective. If someone have any idea of how to fix this malfunction it would be very welcomed. Thanks a lot.

So the tachometer hits redline? If so, you're the first to report this issue.

I'd be making a visit to the nearest Infiniti dealer and tell them to fix it. The dealership will be much more qualified to fix the problem than an independent shop.

I have only seen this when I down shift into 1st gear. I heard somewhere that's its there to protect the vehicle and that you can disable this built in option...

The car is supposed to rev match on downshifts.
In Sport, Sport+(Sport & Red Sport versions), and Personal Drive Modes (if Eng/Transmission select to "Sport").

In Standard, Eco, and Snow Drive Modes, no rev match.
