Vinyl wrapping chrome window trim

Anyone have any recommendations in the Bay Area for a shop that does this?

Blacking out the chrome window trim via vinyl wrap will be the last step for me as far as exterior appearance mods (until we get some front lip and rear diffuser options months from now)...never had anything wrapped before but the few shops i've called around in the bay are charging roughly ~$400 on average!

I feel like at this point, it'd be cheaper to just have someone paint the dang trim instead, but not sure I want the trim to be permanently blacked out quite yet....

PS: plasti-dip is NOT an option for me, been there done that and really don't want to do it again. >:)

Jayce... That looks AMAZING! I hate all you guys by the way, everytime i log onto the forum I have a new project to spend money on!!! lol Never really considered vinyl wrap, until I saw these pics... Looks really great. And awesome on white, which is what I have!

PS - I debadged everything from the trunk but the infiniti logo and got my black lip spoiler on, I will post pics as soon as the black paint dries on the logo and I stick it back on the car. The spoiler looks amazing!

That looks really good Jayce and definitely worth the time and money. They've done a really good job on the wrap to where it doesn't even looked wrapped imo. That's awesome.

I originally thought of getting the white Q60 but my wife wants a white car next and thought I'd mix it up. So obviously I love white and that's looks great on your car. I actually love chrome but black against white is outstanding.

I ordered the black grille for my pure white RS and it was installed Friday. The dealer only charged me one hour $155.00, when it took two hours. The grille looks great along with the Fiber Option I had ordered, but it was installed by the Dealer since Infiniti screwed up my delivery order. No pics since I am tracking with others here.

I wanted to also relay that my quote for black wrapping just the chrome windows was $800.00 while a lesser known place wanted $650. BTW, getting all the windows tinted was $400.00 and the upgraded tint was $480.00.

Man you west coasters have it made!

That is absurd. Not only the window trim pricing but $400 to tint windows!? I get mine professionally done for $180. I hope people aren't paying that much
I hear ya -- Is there anyone listening / posting to these boards from the Washington DC Metro area that can recommend a great and cost effective place for wrapping, tinting, and other exterior add-ons?

It's all about the contrast! If I had a black car or a darker color car in general i'd leave the chrome; grey can probably go either way.

Also, please no one pay more than $200-250 to just get the chrome trim wrapped...anything over that is crazy imo. The guy that wrapped mine has a reputation in the area and has been doing it for 10+ years and if his price was $250 for that kind of quality it's hard to suggest that anything over that is worth it. That said, depending on how hard it is to find vinyl wrappers in your area that scarcity could certainly drive the price way up.

I have a buddy that went to King of Wraps in San Jose and they did nice work.

Not sure how far you are from there but just a suggestion.

$300-$400 sounds about right. I was quoted the same here in Chicago.

If you have some spare time I would ordered the wrap and do it yourself. It's surprisinglyin
Nice!! That looks awesome. I cant wait to do mine now
In Miami they where charging me $230.00 They started at $280.00 and i was like dude its a couple of strips and maybe an hour of work so he said alright $230.00 but i have not been back cause i am so busy!🤣
