Yup, looks like the Honda NR750 engine with oval pistons.

Interestingly enough, apparently a NR750 engine was for sale on Ebay UK roughly 10 years ago, with a nice shot of the twin connecting rods/piston:

Honda NR750 Oval Piston 32 Valve V4 for Sale

Technically it's a V4, but virtually it's a V8 because of the 32 valves.
In 1992 Honda produced 300 NR750 bikes with a list price of $50,000. That same year the Acura (Honda) NSX listed for $60,000.

I know this is an old thread, but I thought I would throw this in too. During the 1.5L V6 turbo era of F1 Honda also built a oval piston engine for F1. In qualifying trim it produced around 2000HP. The FIA banned it before they ever had a chance to race it.
