About 3 weeks ago coming back from the market, the satellite radio feed in my 2017 Q60 began cutting in and out - mostly out. This is in my neighborhood where I always have signal. It will randomly come back on and then cut out again. After 4 refreshes and too much time troubleshooting with SiriusXM, I took it to my Infiniti dealer. They replaced both the antenna and the ENTIRE radio/cd player module. Sure enough, about 2/3 of the way home tonight, it cut out again! I will taking it back to the dealer in the morning. The car only has 33,000 miles on it, so it is under warranty.

Has anyone else had this issue? They had my car for a week - I'd rather point them to a solution if there is one!

I've had mine since Dec. 2016 and no Sirius issues. Does this only happen in one location?

No, it's totally random. They gave me a loaner with Sat Radio and there was no drop out anywhere. I spent a lot of time on the phone with SiriusXM before taking ti to the dealership, and they confirmed no outages in my area.

Could it be caused by another personal electronic device you have in the car or maybe some wiring harness?

Everything I have in my Q60, I had in the loaner - cell phone and wired cell charger. That's it! I made a point of setting up everything the same when they gave me the loaner as a test. The sat radio worked perfectly in the loaner: no dropouts - service into my driveway and partway into my garage. It's going back to the dealership on Tuesday. Let's see what they find!

If they replaced the head unit and the antennae, my guess would be a wiring harness issue. Can't image you'd be so unlucky as to have a bad piece of hardware replaced by another defective unit.

Yeah mine just started having these issues about a month ago. The dealership did replace the face on my unit about two months prior but it just started randomly acting weird. Would cut it and out. It is super sensitive. Under an overpass, under a tree, in the mountains, it does not work that great.

Now I did install a camera system in my car too but it only plugs into the USB ports in my car so that could be it interfering. I did not do any hardwiring.

I really don’t listen to XM much anyways but I do like it for long road trips sometimes. I am having my oil changed at the dealership tomorrow. I could bring it up but I really don’t wanna sit there all day.

I may unplug my camera for a week and see if there is a difference.

Same issue. 2018 q60. All of sudden, it comes and goes. Started a week ago.

I've had my satellite antenna replaced 3 times approximately 1 year apart. I have 2019 Q60 red sport within 33,000 miles. The service rep just says it's just one of those things that happens. It's very annoying 😒

I had to get rid of my Sirius / XM becuase they were jamming so much content down thier stream that qulaity of music dropped off significantly. I then went to phone streaming over Bluetooth but quality and cell towers were an issue. I finally settled on putting all my music on a 256 GB USB stick and life is good

See my post on the same subject. You need a new antenna. Same thing happened to me and another guy - both of us had 2019 Q60s.

Same here, 2019 Q60. Just had my antenna replaced. Works fine now.

same issue. dealership wants to charge me $1500 to replace antenna!! not covered under extended warranty. sucks!!

Wouldn't a third-party audio specialist be able to remedy at a much lesser cost?
