The new exhaust system sounds great, but is there any downside to wrapping the pipes? I've heard it traps water and causes rust over time?

The best approach would be to ceramic (thermal) coat the exhaust. Depending on the complexity of the part, the thermal coating can be applied both internally and externally, or just externally.

Yeah, i had the pipes and most of the exhaust ceramic coated with a 2000 degree coating before I had them wrapped with DEI titanium heat wrap. I wanted to keep as much heat out of the engine bay and it helps with the flow of the Turbos too.

Sounds good! Bet it feels good too!
Thanks Chris, it's doing awesome.

I'll be calling y'all soon to get some goodies when I finish saving for my next round of modifications.
