Sorry for the late response, I don't go on here that much anymore.

I have been using Map 2 on my RS which is +4. I know Premiums guys tend to use +6 depending on your gas. If you have 93oct available, +7 should be nice.

Well this thread is going to be officially retired... :(

I am parting out and turning in my Q earlier than planned and moving to a new platform. It's a little surreal leaving Infiniti since I have been in one for the past 7 years.

Who knows, maybe some day I will be back on here in another Q but for the time being I picked up a 2018 Audi S4.

Thanks to everyone that followed the build and helped out in the community. Take care

One last pic for old times sake

sorry to see you go...your thread was inspirational to me before i got my q60. i know the new s5 is tempting given how much their discounting them now compared to years past. I actually test drove a 2018 s5 but i wasn't impressed with the preference. But i loved the interior and the google maps on the cluster. good luck on your new ride.

Thank you sir! I'm glad I was able to help. I personally think the S line has quite a few advantages over the Q and you are completely right the interior and Virtual Cockpit play a huge part. I also just loved how nimble they felt when driving. Through they probably wont make as much power, especially since the ECU hasn't been cracked yet for flash tunes. I'll probably do a JB4 in the mean time to spice things up like I did on the Q

Farewell Broxx! You'll be sorely missed round here!

i would only do apr only for audi's. Audi dealerships are notorius for voiding warranties on modded cars. Audi's have other ecus that records psi levels and other modifications other then the main ecu that holds the tune.

but i understand....i like the german driving dynamics too. I'm probably moving onto a 6spd BWM M2...i'm waiting for the CPO ones to drop a bit more before i get one. I miss driving manual and the german driving dynamics.

APR is definitely my first choice. Since the ECU hasn't been cracked I can enjoy the warranty while it lasts. Like you said, as soon as it's flashed, TD1 is permanent. Fortunately I found a dealer that is relatively mod friendly in terms of basic bolt ons.

The M2 is an awesome vehicle. A little smaller than I would like but the handling characteristics are phenomenal.

Sorry to see you go and looking forward to your return! <big smile>
